Repertoire

The Lyrique Quintette is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in our membership, our repertoire, and our audience. The quintet has a long history of performing new works, and commissioning new works. Most recently we commissioned new works from contemporary composers Miguel del Aguila and Robert Mueller, which we recorded on our latest album. We also premiered and recorded a new arrangement of work by Paquito D’Rivera on our album. In 2018 the quintet performed all of these works on concerts in Madrid and Granada. We have also recently performed and recorded works by Mexican composer Mario Lavista and Argentinian composer Adriana Verdié. We also commissioned and premiered a work from Narong Prangcharoen, and we performed a work by another contemporary Thai composer, Damrih Banawitayakit.
